London on the Inside - After we heard rumours about it way back in January, we can now confirm that Michael Sager and Marcis Dzelzainis, aka the guys behind Sager + Wilde, are opening a two-floor bar, restaurant and canteen in Old Street this winter. The Nudge - It’s called Fare, and it’s settled over two floors of the Morelands building; a recently renovated cluster of mid-century creative warehouses in Clerkenwell. In essence it’s a bar and restaurant that morphs from breezy breakfast spot to late night wine bar. Upstairs has a more laid-back bar feel, with a big wrap-around marble bar and high wooden tables with stools.  read more

Eater London - The premises Sager and his partners have taken on are huge. In total, the site is 4,500 square feet. As well as the coffee shop, there’ll be space for 40 to 50 on the ground floor, around a horseshoe shaped pizza marble counter; a bar downstairs, and a courtyard with outside seating for 40 to 60. read more
